News Flash – urgent

On Thursday 3rd August the Club is organising a coach excursion to Countryfile Live which is being held at Blenheim Palace.  Any members who haven’t yet signed up, and wish to go, should contact Angela asap because places are now limited due to popular demand.

Ladies it is now time to pay for the upcoming trips to the Theatre and Blenheim. Gail is also collecting the Summer Lunch monies. So purses to the fore……

Please be aware that there are roadworks on the A329 (London Road) on the Bracknell-Ascot border, which will continue to 6 September.  These roadworks will affect your journey if you use London Road, Fernbank Road or Priory Road to get to Mill Ride.  Please use an alternative route that brings you to Mill Ride from the north (Forest Road) or give yourself extra time for your journey.

If you need transport to a proposed meeting or event please contact Carol Rawlinson who will make arrangements for you.

A reminder to all to bring unwanted UK and FOREIGN stamps along to the meetings.  We collect them and they are donated to the Charity ‘Hearing Dogs for the Deaf’.   A very worthy charity that can transform the lives of people with a hearing disability.
We are asked to just cut them off leaving a narrow border around the stamps.  Please separate UK from FOREIGN stamps if at all possible.

(You will find the little box for the stamps on the desk where you pay for your meal.)

please see new additions on the “Dates for your Diary” page.
